October 13, 2018Today the Siplis are hard at work preparing and jointing the next layer of stone which will sit atop the Nandi Mandapam.
This is the top of the mandapam as it is now, ready for the next layer of stones
As the Nandi Mandapam gets taller and taller you get a nice feel for how impressive a structure it is
It has some of the most detailed carvings in the temple
All done with hammer and chisel

These roof pieces are being prepared for their placement
