Mauritius Spiritual Park Mandapams

Several years ago, work began on the creation of large mandapams at the Spiritual Park in Mauritius. Their primary purpose being to comfortably seat the thousands of devotees that attend the Ganesha Homa each month, while keeping people out of the elements. The three main madapams surrounding the Ganesha Mandapam are now complete, with just a few finishing touches to attend to. Aum Namah Sivaya

The structures are made of concrete, with wooden rafters and thatch roofing

The open-air thatch and wooden beam construction is quite wonderful, though some netting might be put up to deter the birds
