Ending the Phase
February 13, 2016Today is the last day of this 5-day phase for the Aadheenam's monks. Each week on this day, the Siddhidatta kulam starts their afternoon with a cleaning of their office. They all spend time wiping down surfaces (which are receiving extra dust during this time of low rainfall) and cleaning their desks and swapping out the office plants, ensuring they get a plentiful amount of real sunlight.

Yoginathaswami welcomes our news team at the office entrance

Sadhaka Dayanatha and Nirvani Nilakanthanatha are hard at work cleaning table tops.

Nirvani Tejadevanatha is swapping out office plants with ones that have been outside

Having living plants in the office is a great way to have a natural feel. And who knows, maybe the little bit of added oxygen makes a difference.

And of course, the Kulam\
s fish tank is always lovely to behold'

it includes a \"sand-fall\"

and many happy fish!

Saravananathaswami stops by and notices a loose ethernet cord over the door, so he quickly grabs the needed tools and pins it back in place

After cleaning, the kulam moves on to other activities.

Yoginathaswami is off to do some surveying

with his equipment in tow

Passing through the woodshop, we see this lovely rough-turned bowl that Nirvani is working on.

Another beautiful day in paradise

Blessings from Ganesha as we head into our 2-day retreat. Om Namah Sivaya.
