The Tale of Two Pujas
March 18, 2016We have a short slideshow for everyone today. Recently some pilgrims came to worship, and worship they did. The Naramada lingam is a serene spot to perform abhishekam as Gurudeva watches over you. Some monks captured the aftermath of the ceremony. Murugan follows with his own glory as we see the aftermath of one monks 6am puja.

Gurudeva is here, there and everywhere. The Path of the Saiva Satgurus has been transformed with the addition of the guru murthis. There is really only one way to determine that for yourself...

Gurudeva, Nandi and our Narmada Sivalingam sit peacefully after a water abhishekam and flower offering

One monk was lucky enough to walk by after this lovely display of flowers was offered

Nandi is adorned with garland in a most delightful way

As Nandi looks on, worshipping 24 hours a day 7 days a week, we are reminded of our own worship and strive to ever be like Nandi - the truest devotee.

Lord Murugan is bright and piercing after the 6am abhishekam

What a powerful form. Muruga
s clothes only change color a few times a year. He will be wearing white for many months. '

"To attain even the permission to perform yoga one must have the grace of Lord Ganesha and the grace of Lord Murugan. Lord Murugan is the God of the kundalini, of the advanced yogic practices. Unfoldment all happens within the kundalini and the chakras within our subtle bodies. Once a profound relationship is developed with Lord Murugan, then, with the guru
s permission and guidance, true yoga may commence."'

"Lord Murugan is the controller of the manipura chakra, the chakra of willpower, and the two chakras above it, direct cognition and universal love. Now we can begin to see that the aspirant has to proceed in consciousness through the three chakras that Lord Murugan controls and meet all the tests before this God will introduce him to Lord Siva."
