Monks on Mission: Canada, California and New York
May 17, 2016The current trip Satguru and monks are on is going well. We get an insight into the details from Satguru himself:
On Saturday morning we held a satsang at Easvan and Devi Param's home. I gave a version of the tyemmûîf talk from a few weeks ago at the Sun One homa, staying within throughout the day starting at 66.66%. Dinner with Easan and Sundari Katir at Walnut Creek with a productive conversation on their various outreach activities.
Sunday morning we had four, half-hour individual darshan sessions in a quiet outdoor area at the hotel in Pleasant Hill. That evening was a satang with the Sri Lankan bhajanai group in Fremont, California. Somehow they managed to pack about one hundred devotees into the home! Singing for an hour followed by my talk on dharma. The talk was well-received.
We departed the hotel in the wee hours of the morning, 4:30 AM to be exact. 8:30 Am flight SFO to Vancouver. Cleared immigration and customs with a bit of effort and then we were met by Jai and Ganga Murugan and Nagarajan Pillay. Dinner at an Indian restaurant with a group of 31, more than we expected. Excellent conversations during dinner. Aum Namah Sivaya

Satguru and Kul. Easvan Param

Satguru in California, Pleasant Hill to be exact. A quiet day for the traveling monks. Of course, Satguru doesn\
t take a day off. '

Satsang in Freemont, California. So many young people listening to Satguru\
s talk and singing bhajan. How else can Hinduism be transferred to the next generation. We have to get the children, kids, teens and young adults involved. '

Pano of Satguru and devotees

Swamis not taking any breaks! A short ferry ride means a collab session to get work done.

The high-rises of Vancouver, Canada

The Swamis and Nagarajan get ready to hit the streets of Canada spreading love, light and upliftment

Another shot from the ferry. Devotees on both sides of Satguru.

A mighty wind moves Satguru\
s beard. The Swami\'s beards represent full renunciation from the world. One can see by their appearance that they have thrown down social customs of being clean cut and have fully decided to walk on another path. Jai'

Nagarajan, Siddhanathaswami and Shanmuganathaswami stand still in what appears to be a brutal wind! Their having fun. I\
m having fun. We\'re all having fun. Aum Aum everyone'
