An Update from Our Bengaluru Carving Site
May 27, 2016Aum Sivaya everyone, we have just received these photos from Iraivan's carving site in India. The silpis are working hard to finish the perimeter wall and Nandi Mandapam stone pieces.

Silpis can be seen here making the wood shipping crates from scratch

These crates are built to last 1,000 years, just like Iraivan Temple

A stack of crate bottoms ready for their walls

Stones line up and prepare to be shipped to Kauai!

Packaged stones in their temporary home

To disassemble these crates takes a good ten minutes of either chainsawing, reciprocating sawing or magical anti-iron nail powders.

Fully packed and lined up. When these holy stones arrive on island, you will be the first to know. Well actually second, because I will know first. Aum Aum Everyone, see you after the retreat.
