Colleena Shakti Dances at the Aadheenam
July 31, 2016Yesterday the monastery hosted the great dancer Colleena Shakti and her dance troupe. She's been holding an annual retreat on Kaua`i for the last several years and makes a visit to us each time, showcasing her artistic craft for all to experience. Specifically, Colleena offers an Odissi dance when performing at the Aadheenam. Her expertise is not limited to the Odissi school, however.
