Satguru Visits Jayendrapuriswami
August 27, 2016Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami and Sannyasin Shanmuganathaswami recently were in Bangalore, and met with Sri Jayendrapuriswami. Swamiji is the head of Kailash Ashram in Rajarajeswarinagar and a dear friend to the Aadheenam.

Swamiji hosts Satguru in his darshan room at Kailash Ashram.

Swamiji is a most gracious and big-hearted soul.

A likeness of the late Sri Trichy Swamigal, founder of Kailash Ashram and Swamiji\
s Guru. Swamigal was a dynamic force to be reckoned with.'

Satguru offers Swamiji our recently-released, long-awaited Tamil version of Dancing with Siva called \"Sivaperumanudan Oru Thirunadanam.\"

Along with English language copies of Dancing with Siva and Loving Ganesa.

Swamiji shows Satguru and Shanmuganathaswami this grand copy of the Bhagavad Geeta.

Just a few days ago it was Krishna Janmashtami.

Swamiji invites Satguru and Swami to bless the scripture.

Kailash Ashram is somewhat of a sprawling estate, with well-maintained grounds and an open feeling.

These great souls share many moments of laughter together.

Encountering pilgrims on the way to a construction site.

More laughter!

Swamiji explains the building\
s progress in detail thus far.'

It is meant as a place for meditation.

Up on the roof, we have a splendid view of Sri Rajarajeswari Devi\
s rajagopuram.'

A beautiful overview!

\"On the brink of the Absolute...\"

s streets to yet another construction site.'

This pyramidal structure is held together by gravity and a tongue and groove method.

Standing outside the Royal Tower (rajagopuram) of Sri Rajarajeswari, also known as Sri Lalita Tripurasundari, the Supreme form of Goddess within the Sri Vidya tradition.

Entering Her sacred chambers.

Standing before Her shrine in a moment of quietude.

Nearby dwarapalakis (female temple body guards) make sure their Goddess is protected from unwanted presences within the temple. Flanking both sides of the garbha grha (sanctum sanctorum) are Jaya and Vijaya, Rajarajeswari\
s divine bouncers.'

The garbha grha\
s exterior is plated with immaculately carved gold.'

Sri Saraswati Devi playing Her veena.

And Sri Lakshmi Devi showering limitless blessings on Her children.

Receiving arati from the Divine Mother.

Vibhuti.

And a garland which was worn by God Herself.

Fruit prasadam from Her Feet.

Om Sri Rajarajeswaryai Namah

This powerful Shakta temple leaves one feeling revitalized.

After receving blessings from God in Her anthropomorphic form, Satguru is brought to the temple housing Lalita as Sri Chakra Mahameru.

Pradakshina around dwajasthamba.

Sri Chakra Mahameru is the three-dimensional depiction of the Sri Chakra\/Sri Yantra. Dwarapalakis are again here to make sure their Goddess is unharmed.

This is the most central and profound image within the Sri Vidya sampradaya, abundant with much, much deep power and meaning. The daily worship and meditation via Sri Chakra is a central sadhana for those of this tradition.

Very beautiful and cool trishula railing around the main sanctum. As with Siva, the tirshula is an anionic representation of Sakti. After all, Siva is Sakti and Sakti is Siva.

Off to reunite with Jayendrapuriswamiji for discussion.

Some devotees of Swamiji join.

Swamiji possesses a truly brilliant mind. One example of this is his polyglot abilities. Swamiji is able to read, speak and understand at least 14 languages.

Ever full of passion and zeal, Swamiji carries on his Guru\
s mission with singlepointedness and determination.'

Gurudeva\
s way of describing a soul such as Swamiji would be someone who has completely mastered themselves as awareness. '

Departure time as come, and gifts are presented by our kind and loving host. The customary bestowal of a shawl is a must.

Customary gifts of sweets and cloth.

Satguru\
s time with Swamiji was, as always, joyous, informative and productive.'
