A Day In The Windy City
September 14, 2016From our traveling monks in Chicago:
This morning we grabbed some amazing espresso at the lobby cafe and moved about our way to the garfield conservatory. Satguru recommended we visit and indeed it has been the closest feeling of home since we left.

Here is Parmacharya with phone in hand, ready for the unknown to be known. We all keep our eyes peeled for the green gems the monastery does not yet have.

Everyone looks over for a group photo. Ripla was at home watching the baby. Swami, Aran and Gaurav.

Looks like home, right?

Even the humidity was controlled in this indoor tropical paradise

Aran peers into the dark space in-between to life forms and briefly reflects \"Can I fit?\"

Nice beautiful paths guide us through this jungle

As we discover new things, Aran is requested to grab hold and try it out for himself...to his dismay

Swami points out some odd work that Siva has done

Another grand room with ceiling patterns. This is called the Show Room.

Aran found a slide and decided it must be conquered

We walked along as 3 travelers in a foreign land. Thanks Chicago, for making this far away place kinda like home.
