Satguru visits the Ganesha Temple in New York
July 24, 2017Satguru hasn't visited the Ganesha Temple in Flushing, New York since 1982! Satguru was there in it's humble beginnings and is very happy to see this temple has grown so much and is thriving.

We arrive at the main entrance.

The entrance beautifully greets us with 16 Ganesha\
s carved from granite.'

The priests gather.

They chant the guru mantra welcoming Satguru to the temple.

After going to the temple and worshiping to Ganesha we go below to the famous temple canteen.

It feeds 5000 people on average every day and on Ganesha Chaturthi is can feed over 20,0000 people in a single day!

The kitchen staff were overjoyed to be able to serve and meet Satguru, so they all came out to offer their respects and gain blessings.

We then made our way over to the cultural center to see the auditorium.

They were setting up for a wedding tomorrow. A beautiful location.

The auditorium can seat 700 people and is rich with cultural events.
