California Satsang: Suresh and Shanthi

Suresh and Shanthi Ramamurthi hosted Paramacharya Sadasivanathaswami for a delightful satsang. This would be the last event for the travel mission's California stop, and then off to New York.

A Ganesha shrine has been built and a puja from Yogi is peformed. Devotees were arriving late due to heavy traffic so a short puja turned into a long abhishekam!

Part of the group gathers and Swami begins to speak on travel topics, Saiva Siddhanta and the glory of the guru

The room fills over the course of an hour, with devotees trickling in in twos and threes.

The occasion gets even more auspicious as Shanthi takes her Arulsishya vows, dedicating herself to four strict Hindu vows of vegetarianism, tithing, ahimsa and the vow of joining the Kailasa Parampara

As an Arulsishya of Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami, Shanthi Ramamurti will now begin preparation of her next step towards full membership and initiation
