Feeding Doves Daily

Every day after lunch Sivanathaswami feeds some of the rice and curries along with their regular bird seed to the bird that we keep in a small aviary. Afterwards he brings out the seed from the day before and feeds it to our horde of wild doves. There is a least 100!

The canaries know lunch is coming and swoop in.

Then feeding the doves...

At the slightest disturbance they fly up with loud burst of wing noise.

And back down for look for seed. There are two species. One is quite small and the other large, more like a pigeon.
