A Final Satsang to Wrap Up Our Trip
November 1, 2017Our trip around the mainland concludes in San Diego. We had a wonderful opportunity to meet with Swami Harinamananda of the Ramakrisha Mission, visited with devotees on a short outing and held satsang at the home of Kulapati and Kulamata Visswanathan.

All gather outside and greet Paramacharya in a grand way

Swami updates the group as devotees slowly pile in from the busy Carlsbad traffic

Stories from the long trip are shared and everyone is able to ask wonderful questions at the end

The poem, Siva in My Wonder; Siva in My Woe, Swami wrote is passed around and everyone reads as they contemplate its meaning

During storytime Mayuresh Visswanathan beautifully plays his drums to the beat of the tale

Vibhuti blessings before dinner

Yogi Rajanatha is reminded that he and Swami will be flying back to the monastery the day after next and beams with joy. Five weeks on the road is quite the journey for our monks and the simple life of the quet monastery is highly sought after.
