Sun One Afternoon

Monks are hard at work in their respective departments. We captured some of them this sunny Sun 1 afternoon.

Arumuganathaswami and Nirvani Haranandinatha continue their work on developing material for the Holy Saivite Bible project.

Taskforcer Trey made lunch and helped with dinner today. He is on his way to milk our loving sweet cows.

Danny Foster from the mainland US is here on a 6 month taskforce program. Danny is currently in the Siddhidata Kulam.

Nirvani Tejadevanatha is working with kaivalyanathaswami on some tool maintenance. Swami gets his garden blade sharpened before heading out to work the soil.

Tejadevanatha raising his fortune for the days fruit harvest proudly in the air. Soon these bananas will either stay green and be cooked for a curry, or let ripen for sweet breakfasts. It appears the left stalk might be for curry and the right for shakes. yum.

Tangerines are in season!

And yes, the awesomely sweet and strong durian. Durian has such a rich custard texture and potent sweetness that it is truly hard to keep around the monastery for long.
