Ending the Fifth Sun
July 30, 2019Aum Namah Sivaya
Today marks the fifth day of our lunar week, which means tomorrow and the next day the monks take time off from their normal duties and attend to other projects. So today we wrap up the week with a look at some of the progress made this week on Iraivan Temple, the Greenhouse and the Pillayar Kulam Office
The Siddhidatta kulam spent the morning working on the front of the greenhouse
They\
ve almost completed all sides of the building'
Divyesh is on pilgrimage with his family from Canada. He\
s been helping the Siddhidatta Kulam in the mornings.'
Over at Iraivan, the side ramp we have long been using to reach the top of the foundation has finally been blocked by the wall
Now you can only enter from the main entrance steps in the front
It has created a nice change, making things feel more complete
The silpis are towards the back of the temple joining the wall stones and working on small details
Another look at the bronze stanchions
Over at the Pillayar Kulam offices, our new visitor restrooms are coming along quickly
The outer walls are almost complete
