Into the Redwoods!

Several Weeks ago, on their second and last day in the Bay Area, Paramacharya Sadasivanathaswami and Yogi Jayanatha enjoyed a hike through some redwoods with Bay Area members. The trail led them up into the side of a ridge and then a along a forested trail in the treetops. They then concluded their hike with a picnic lunch.

The first part of the path is paved and easy

Then up into the forested hillside we go!

A big path becomes a smaller one, less traveled but still well-worn

Up, up we go through many switchbacks

A good way to end a brief stay in the Bay Area

the next day our monks board their plane and fly away. Goodbye California

Hello Denver! After a few hours, they board another plane for the Boston.
