Installing Stone Chains

Last week the large bronze stanchions were bolted to the silpi pavilion platform in order to support the weight of three massive stone chains. Recently, Paramacharya Sadasivanathaswami, Acharya Kumarnathaswami, Kanda Alahan and Taskforcer Yajatadeva worked together to install the chains around the pavilion.

These chains were each carved from a single piece of granite

Acharya makes some fitting adjustments

Yajatadeva fits one end of the chain into the keyhole and rotates it into place
