Seven Wonders of Kauai Aadheenam
November 16, 2019Inspired words from a pilgrim who attended the 2019 Mahasamadhi celebrations. Aum Namah Sivaya
\"I began by walking down to the Path of the Saiva Satgurus, chanting the Guru Parampara Vandanam\"
stopping in front of each of our beloved Guru linage
feeling the link of unbroken connection
Then back up to the magnificent, much, much bigger than life, nestled in front of a beautiful tree surrounded by rishes--Dakshinamurthi. May I sit at His Feet and learn some inner truths
Now to the circumambulating around Iraivan Temple, built to last a thousand years.
A wonder for the senses as each time around one notices something else that was missed the last time. Stop in front of the sanctum, prostrate to our beloved Gurudeva, see with you inner vision the crystal Lingam installed
water, milk, ghee flowing down the sides, smelling incense burning, hearing bells ringing, tasting the tirtum, as we are transformed to the inner worlds through worship
Leaving Iraivan temple, walked down San Marga
to get a first glimpse of the power, strength and beauty of Lord Hanuman. Being grateful of his hand in bringing our Iraivan temple to Kauai and feeling so small.
Back up San Marga- the straight path to God, just in time to hear a monk doing puja for the Swayambhu lingam
remembering Gurudeva saw Lord Siva sitting on a stone and now I\
m there to worship Him!'
Walk back to Kadavul Temple
prostrate to our Beloved Lord Ganesha, Lord Murugan, and yes our Beloved Lord Siva.
They alone are a wonder of my world
Then appearing from nowhere, is He stone, is He bronze, is He blue, is He changing colors?
as I stand in awe of one of the most beautiful Sadasivas on the planet.
This and more, as I walked to experience each of these marvels
my breath was taken away by the plants, waterways,
rocks, thick moist air, blue sky, puffy white clouds.
How did I come to where Heaven meets Earth?
Thank you Gurudeva and all who help create and sustain such a wonderful place for a pilgrims travel in this and inner worlds. Aum Namasivaya, Aum Namasivaya, Aum Namasivaya, Aum
