Off to Portland
September 12, 2022Portland, Oregon, is our last stop before flying back to Kauai. At breakfast, the Kondapi family hosted a breakfast feast at their home. Afterwards, the Regade family took us (and other guests) to a small garden with massive Douglas Fir trees. That night was the satsang at the Regade home, with 23 participants who listened to our talks on the Seven Dimensions of the Mind and Karma Management. Indivar Sivanathan filmed it and so it may be available in the days ahead.

We are told the trees are 150 years and older.
Hmmmm, looks like Hawaii.

This docent shared that she has been to the monastery, and confessed Kauai is her second favorite place on the earth, this garden being her first.

Evening begins with an arati in the Regade shrine room.
Shreya, now a junior in high school, was our unofficial photographer and adventure planner.
We looked up during satsang to see this painting on the wall, of Iraivan in the forest and Nani Kaua Falls and Pond in the foreground.
