Siva's Sacred Gardens on July 19th
July 19, 2023Today our peripetetic photographer roamed and captured a handful of the many botanical exhibitions in the garden. The amazing thing about a mature garden is that it is different each day, always something new, something blossoming, something growing high above in the trees.
Three massive agave desmentiana inflorescenses reaching for the sky. Each one will give a thousand seedlings in a few more weeks.
Worlds largest bromeliad, named Imperalis.
A wall of desertness.
These were a gift from the big island earlier this year.
An aloe....
This False Parasol mushroom is the first ever seen on our lands.
A turtle vine.
Roots in the Rudraksha forest.
Orchids are blooming now.
The popular Phalaenopsis Golden Star
And, to end, a towering spike from an agave, soaring up about 22 feet, soon to flower and then create plantlets for the future garden.
