In Saiva Siddhanta, or South Indian Saivism, Siva is the Creator Brahma, the Preserver Vishnu and the Absorber or Destroyer Rudra. Lord Krishna is looked at one of the hundreds of thousands of Gods. In traditional Saivism, Lord Ganesa is worshipped, Lord Murugan is worshipped and Lord Siva.
There are four major denominations within modern Hinduism - Saivism, Shaktism, Vaishnavism and Smartism. Saivism is the oldest.
