June 17 Homa
This Morning the monks began their new phase with our weekly homa. It is also Ardra Nakshatra giving the sacred ceremony extra potency. This is the start of a six day phase, beginning with this homa, then an Ardra abhishekam to Lord Siva later in the day. Later in the phase will be our monthly Ashram Sadhana day, when the monks clean the whole monastery.
Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami is still traveling, but will be returning in a few days. Paramacharya Sadasivanathaswami sat in to burn the written prayers and to give a talk at the end of the morning's worship.

We were fortunate to visit the Temple today while the special puja during Ardvar Nakshatra was being performed. The Temple was overflowing with visitors, as if the special love of Siva was drawing everyone from all parts of the world….we feel fortunate to be on this beautiful Garden Island of Kauai, and to have the Kauai Hindu Monastery here. We also are very grateful that you allow visitors to attend the special pujas that you perform as part of your monastic life. Thank you for your friendship and your spiritual inspiration.

I give much gratitude for having experienced this amazing ceremony this morning. It was my very first puja and I received many blessings from my attendance. My daughter was visiting the Island and it was her very first puja also. It provided deep spiritual nourishment for her. Thank you so much for opening your doors to everyone and sharing your Light and Love.
