June 29 Homa
This morning begins a new phase at the monastery as the moon goes from a half moon to the new moon. This will be a short 4 day phase, immediately followed by Ardra and our monthly abhishekam to Lord Nataraja. As Satguru is traveling, Paramacharya Sadasivanathaswami filled in to burn prayers in the sacred flames and to give a talk afterwards. He discussed attachment and told a short related story. "Attach yourself to Him who is free from all attachments. Bind yourself to that bond so all other bonds may be broken." Kural 350
