New Tractor
Every few years the monks upgrade the monastery equipment in order to not be suffocated in maintenance nightmares. A new John Deere tractor has been purchased to help till the fields.

Cannot blame Acharya Arumuganathaswami from being fascinated by this new machine – I also like machines that plough grade, dig etc.
May the Ganapathi Kulam have years of good work from the machine.

It brings me a Good Memory that, in the Year-1967,
My beloved father & I went to Sivathondan Nilayam, Chengaladdy, Sri Lanka:
During our stay in the Aashramam, Sri Santha Swami (Soulbury Swami),
used to get on to the TRACTOR (With his Garden Dress+ Stockings & Boots),
in the Mornings around 09:00 a.m. & proceed to the Paddy Field work, at
Chengaladdy! He led a very Humble& Systematic Daily Life at the Aashramam!
with the motive of SIVATHONDU, as a SIVATHONDAN! GREAT!
Long Live SIVATHONDU! Aum Siva, Siva!
